We mourn the loss of Mr Mitsuo Okamoto, the former CEO of the AMADA Group, who passed away on 16 February 2024.
Mr Okamoto was not only a leader with foresight and a steady hand, but also a pioneer who laid the foundations for the stability and future viability of our company. His tireless commitment and vision have made AMADA what it is today.
In recognition of his remarkable contributions, we would like to quote a Japanese proverb that reflects his philosophy: „็ณใฎไธใซใไธๅนด” (Ishi no ue ni mo sannen) – „Standing on one stone for three years”. This illustrates his perseverance and commitment, even in difficult times.
We will cherish his legacy and always honour his memory.
